The Central Services Agency is an integral part of Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland, supporting the activities of the DHSSPS, HSS Boards, Trusts and Agencies through a wide range of regional services. The Comptroller and Auditor General for Northern Ireland, Head of the Northern Ireland Audit Office has been given new statutory powers to conduct data matching exercises for the purpose of assisting in the prevention and detection of fraud.
