Welcome to the Regional Supplies Service

The Regional Supplies Service is the sole provider of professional supplies services which include logistics, contracting and procurement to all Northern Ireland Health and Social Services Trusts and Agencies. Regional Supplies Service has been recognised as a Centre of Procurement Expertise within the Health Sector under the guidelines established by the Northern Ireland Procurement Board. This structure implements the revised Procurement Policy for the Public Sector as approved by the Northern Ireland Assembly.

Regional Supplies Service currently employs around 300 staff on various sites throughout Northern Ireland and presently has an operating budget of £7m per annum. The staff within the Directorate has a direct impact in circa £250m per annum of Health and Social Service expenditure.

Regional Supplies Service which operates on a service and budget agreement basis with all of its customers is committed to the use of the European Quality self-assessment model as a measurement of the quality and effectiveness of its activities.
